People considering whole-life coverage for end-of-life costs can begin comparing prices there. According to the agency’s instructions, shoppers who want to proceed move to Choice Mutual’s website, provide contact details and connect with a licensed agent.

Choice Mutual says the new channel draws pricing from more than 20 insurers, naming Mutual of Omaha, Aflac, TruStage, Aetna and Transamerica among them. The change gives shoppers another place to start looking at policies offered through the agency; it does not make ChatGPT the insurer or complete a purchase inside the conversation.

Living Promise shows why the policy version matters

One named policy Choice Mutual describes as agency-offered is Living Promise, a final-expense whole-life product issued by United of Omaha Life Insurance Company, a Mutual of Omaha company. It is an example of the agency’s existing offerings, though the launch announcement does not say Living Promise will appear in every ChatGPT quote.

Choice Mutual describes two materially different Living Promise benefit versions. It says the level-benefit version has no initial waiting period for the full death benefit, while the graded-benefit version limits the benefit for death from natural causes during the first two years.
